 “We are colourful; no errors”: Alie Islam releases colours Alie Islam has released yet again another soul-teaching poem, titled ‘Colours,’ following the publication of his last spoken word album. In this release Islam speaks about the beauty of Allah (God) and how He created colour to beautify His creations. “Only God knows the colour that he gave to a white man that is not white; the colour is melanin” a line from the poem reads. The sensational writer also lamented the growing hostility against muslim women as a result of the islamophobic climate around the globe. He lashed out at the decision by some employers who deny muslim women opportunities because of their hijabs. “You said I’m not getting the job because of my hijab!
