Alie Islam Awards and achievements

Alie Islam is the most featured Islamic artist and poet in Sierra Leone, after he was signed by the Hikmah Brothers in 2019 he got his first featuring in the first Hikmah Brothers album since then he received up to 15 features including International features.

Alie Islam in 2022, got his first National Awards nomination at the National Islamic Awards and won the best poem of the year.

Alie Islam became an Islamic Youth ambassador in 2022 at the National Islamic Youth Summit and he won the most awards in the summit.

Alie Islam has recited his poems on three national events two times at the Anti-corruption commemoration commission, he was amongst the first Muslim entertainers to be invited to the Armed forces day National event in the republic of Sierra Leone, and he was also called upon to perform alongside the Hikmah Brothers at the National Islamic Conference, and he was also invited to recite his poem at the National Islamic Awards.

New Album 2023

Alie Islam is currently working and about to drop his second album in 2023 which he titled “Colours”. He has launched two poems from the album one titled “Colours of Love” and the second one titled “Muhammad” (SAW). You can find these on Audiomack, Soundcloud, YouTube, etc search 'Alie Islamʼ. The release date of the Album is in April on all platforms for streaming.

Alpha Alie Bangura known professionally as Alie Islam is a (Muslim) poet, spoken word artist, songwriter, storyteller, rapper, and jingle creator, and also an Islamic Youth ambassador. He is a co-founder of the Pen Language, former vice president of Concern for the Destitute charity organization, and the director of Dress up like a Muslimah. He is also a recording label Islamic artist at the Hikmah Brothers, Sierra Leone Anasheed Brothers, and his production studio Islam Voice Records. He was also signed by a Ghana Muslim TV known as Dope Muslim Television in 2022. He is credited with popularizing poetry-spoken words. Alie Islam has been at National events reciting his poems at the National Islamic Conference, the Sierra Leone Anti-Corruption commission commemoration, and the ceremony of the Armed forces day at the republic of Sierra leone armed forces.
