Alpha Alie Bangura known professionally as Alie Islam is a (Muslim) poet, spoken word artist, songwriter, storyteller, rapper, and jingle creator, and also an Islamic Youth ambassador. He is a co-founder of the Pen Language, former vice president of Concern for the Destitute charity organization, and the director of Dress up like a Muslimah. He is also a recording label Islamic artist at the Hikmah Brothers, Sierra Leone Anasheed Brothers, and his production studio Islam Voice Records. He was also signed by a Ghana Muslim TV known as Dope Muslim Television in 2022. He is credited with popularizing poetry-spoken words. Alie Islam has been at National events reciting his poems at the National Islamic Conference, the Sierra Leone Anti-Corruption commission commemoration, and the ceremony of the Armed forces day at the republic of Sierra leone armed forces.
