Every year you visit our community 

Teach us to earn a lasting prosperity 


Some say “You kinda-like”

“Wakanda-like”


The love you showed 

explode like dynamite 


The peace you bestowed

Awaken our dying night


There's much space for us to be stars

To bless thee with everlasting bright


You give life to our dying flowers

Even as we stand like a falling tower


You Blessed our crooked hours

Less our desires from cooking ours


Stress we always required 

But test we always acquired 


You patch and mend our minds and then

Bend our end good health you brought to spend


What else you left? everything you gave

Nothing is meant to lend 


You made the poor not to beg for food

And taught the rich to fed the food


You command ALLAH to wipe our names from Hell

And gave stamina to the falling Angels that once have fell


Talking of falling Angels 

Am talking of how you made us fall in Angels


Picking us from falling enge wells 

And made our falling end well 


In our impossible 

You wrote “I'm possible”


Oh Ramadan when will you visit me again in my house

Please command the LORD to let us be your host in Firdaus.

Profile of Alie Islam

  Alpha Alie Bangura known professionally as Alie Islam is a (Muslim) poet, spoken word artist, songwriter, storyteller, rapper, and jingle creator, and also an Islamic Youth ambassador. He is a co-founder of the Pen Language, former vice president of Concern for the Destitute charity organization, and the director of Dress up like a Muslimah. He is also a recording label Islamic artist at the Hikmah Brothers, Sierra Leone Anasheed Brothers, and his production studio Islam Voice Records.
